1. Privacy with regard to processing of personal data received via the Acerta website

Acerta respects the existing legislation with regard to the processing of personal data received via the Acerta Web site:

  • the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data.
  • the Royal Decree of 13 February 2001 on the implementation of that law.

Visitors can freely register their personal data on the Acerta website.

  • The collection of personal data via the Acerta-website is not an objective in itself for Acerta. Acerta doesn't collect personal data via its websites for direct marketing purposes for third parties and also doesn't pass the personal data on to third parties. In the event this is deviated from, Acerta undertakes to always expressly mention this and to expressly request permission.
  • Acerta itself can use this personal data for the purpose of prospecting and promotion of its products and services or those of the Acerta group, or as statistical material for recording general visitor profiles.
  • Contacts that give rise to the provision of a paid or a legally-required service, will be included in the customer base.

Personal data obtained through contact forms are not stored in databases but immediately forwarded by e-mail to a central mailbox. From there, your message is sent to the person responsible for the requested service or information. The communicated personal data will be treated with the same care as ordinary correspondence, fax or phone.

To confirm the proper receipt of your contact form, we will always send you a copy of your own message. From receipt, the message can count on the same priority attention and care during further processing as the messages that reach us via any other channel such as mail, fax or phone.

For the freely accessible parts of its website, Acerta only uses cookies in which your language preference is included for your browsing convenience. After your visit, you can simply delete it through your Web browser.

Applications that only registered users can login on, are governed by the terms of use of the application itself for privacy purposes.
The Acerta website also contains click-through links to other websites, but is not responsible for the manner in which these websites are dealing with your privacy.
As a customer, you have the right to access your personal data for free, at any time and to delete or update it, subject to the legal provisions in this regard concerning the deadlines of storage of certain documents and data. You can object to the use of such data for purposes of commercial prospecting. The controller of the personal data and information acquired through our website is our web master to whom you can send an application for inspection and/or adjustment by e-mail. The Acerta group is an HR service provider that wants to offer an integral service to its clientele. To achieve this, it would describe the privacy limits within which this service is offered. The following provisions must therefore be regarded as a supplement to your existing contractual arrangements:

2.1 Your personal data

As entity responsible for processing, Acerta processes your personal data as a client in the context of customer management, prospecting and to inform you about its services.

In the context of an integrated service within the Acerta group, Acerta also receives your data through other Acerta entities where you are a customer, and they will process the following data categories: identification data, activity, capacity, contact details, number of employees and client status with other entities of the Acerta group.

Acerta shares the information with entities (whether or not the Acerta group) who process the data in their assignment as processor in the context of an integrated service within the Acerta group, and to entities from the Acerta group that use this data as process controller for the prospecting of their own services. You have the right to consult and modify your personal information. You have the right to freely object to the use of your data for prospecting purposes or the use of your information to inform you about the services rendered by the Acerta group.

The employees of Acerta are informed during their training as new employees of the scope of the law of 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data and its implementing decrees. The content of this regulation is made available to them, whether or not in vulgarized form, and they are subject to a confidentiality duty.

2.2 Other data

To the extent that you entrust other personal data to Acerta in the implementation of your agreement with Acerta than your data as a client, Acerta acts as processor assigned by you and they may only process personal data in your command and in the framework of the agreement, either on the basis of a requirement imposed by or under any law, a decree or ordinance.
Acerta undertakes both during and after the implementation of this agreement, not to share any information, which Acerta received in the execution of its assignment, with third parties and/or to process, than within the framework of the objective for which this information has been communicated to Acerta. Acerta may, however, call on subcontractors acting as sub-processor. In that case, Acerta shall remain liable for the sub-processor.

Acerta will take all the necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data entrusted by you to it. Acerta is for instance committed to secure your data in such a way that third parties cannot consult and/or modify any data. However, you agree that (i) available data are processed in comprehensive and non-identifiable statistics and (ii) in order to be able to offer you an efficient integrated service within the Acerta group, employees of a company affiliated with Acerta may also gain access to this information and may also use this data as processor for the prospecting of their own services.
